Even though television broadcasts have been the leading means of video delivery the contents of this blog are not restricted just to broadcast automation. Internet is fast becoming an equally important delivery channel as it is a much more dynamic environment than broadcast. New services are easy and cost-effective to startup on the web. Once service has established itself distributed delivery mechanisms can be used to easily scale the delivery even to rapidly growing number of users. However whichever the delivery platform the tasks in the video production work flow stay the same.
Each of these parts of the production chain will be discussed in more detail in the following posts. The main focus will be on an end-to-end integration of these tasks. Projects can be managed with much more ease and are more likely to be completed cost-efficiently in the given time frame.
