Capture

Capturing is the most unforgiving part of the production chain. Mistakes made in this stage are impossible or very time consuming to mend later on. The need for skill and talent is not going to become obsolete. Even though a lot of technological progress has already been made the fundamentals stay the same. Video camcorder or any another type of video capture system consists of imaging sensor and means to save the data. To control the capturing process a logic component is needed as well. In the following these three components will each (storage, sensor and logic) be discussed in more detail.
